Mildew Control is an all-natural fungicide composed of plant extracts. It is applied to the leaves & soil and is effective against Powdery Mildew and other mildew diseases in the order Erysiphales. These mildews are known to significantly reduce crop yields.
Mode of Action
Mildew Control has a two-fold effect on crops: preventative and curative. It retards spore germination, germ tube growth, and destroys pathogen cells. Geraniol induces an imbalance in levels of the K+ ions inside the mycelium; this also helps to slow germination and mycelium proliferation. It enters the pathogen cell causing cell lysis. Mildew Control is most effective when applied before the onset of the disease.
Directions for Use
Dilute 3.8 ml (3/4 tsp) of product with one gallon (1 gal.) of water to dilute; respecting the dilution rate of 1:1000 of product to water.
Area Application - In the area of application, use 13.8 oz per acre of land as a foliar spray.
Method of Application - After dilution, spray directly on the plant's leaves. Make 3-4 applications every 5 days if disease is present. Apply every 10 days for preventative measures when plants are at high risk of infection.
Mildew Control uses the natural plant extract geranoil as the active ingredient to reach the highest level of efficacy, while greatly reducing the environmental impact of using this product. Geranoil is a fungicide with preventive & curative effects against powdery mildew that deactivates the growth of spores and consequently reverses disease progress.
